getting >> it is actually getting a lighter. let me mention just as robin when stand mentioned i was crossing the bay bridge. as i was driving across the bay bridge. the wind was howling and moving the vehicles left and right to and with the slippery road to are quick to want to drive careful. under 45 m.p.h.. you are going to want to drive slowly. take a look at the embarcadero. i shot this video of people walking up and down. with umbrellas people wearing jackets, boots, anything to keep warm. and they all are familiar with these moist and reconditions. certainly, the weather is not keeping people inside totally i think that this would be totally deserted but that was not the case. we also saw some trees swaying along the embarcadero in the howling wind. it is going to be a busy night. i do not know what portion of the storm i.m. and but the rainfall was just a light drizzle. certainly, coming down harder, earlier. be prepared. reporting live, phillipe djegal, kron 4 news. >> continuing our team coverage... a flood warning has been issued in the sonoma county. kron4's jeff bus

at the weather. live look outside at san francisco. robin winston is in with a first look of your forecast. neehim yes. cold, cloudy but dry. the stormtracker 4 showing the dry conditions but we do have more wet weather on the way. make sure to keep your umbrella handy. temperatures outside are cold. not quite as cold yesterday with 20's and 30's. now, we are looking at 40's are run the bay area. 45 in napa, santa rosa and a good warmer in oakland. 48 degrees in fremont. here is a look at the satellite and radar. this one the system moved out and to the norris some snowfall and northern california but that will drop down into the bay area. there is another round of what weather expected. what we can expect is mostly cloudy with passing showers. a few sprinkles as you make your way are from the bay. sunny with breaks of sunshine it will be dry but that next system will move in tonight. i will time it out on futurecast and what we can expect. >> coming up on kron four news weekend. we'll have more on the victims and their families from friday's school shooting in connecticut. including how

and families involved in yesterday's horrific shootings? i'm joined by clinical psychologist robin goodman. robin, let me start with the obvious question. how can a parent or what should parents be saying to their children at home? >> well, there's a few things you want to keep in mind. one is kids may likely have seen information about all of this. so you want to be able to be honest and open with them according to what is appropriate to their age. number one. you also want to be reassuring to them about what you are doing to take care of them. and you also want to just talk about what is going to continue in their life. normal lives, reassured, get back to routine. and then you want to instead of talk, you really want to listen. and what are their questions, what do they know? what are they saying? >> should parents be pushing their children at the school to talk about those -- this or should they allow the child to open up on their own? >> i think you can do a combination of things. and it is not necessarily one conversation. what you can do is say i -- you know, there has been a lot of

conditions. delayed almost two hours at the sanf rancisco i'm here at the weather center with robin winston... a triple whammy. wow. >> 280, palo alto is getting moderate rain. out of the east bay, also moderate through dublin, 580,/680. san rafael is coming your way on light for the north bay. a few patches in the weather system between the san rafael. we will continue to see rainfall as we go towards it this evening. this is the third system of the week. this is still alive look. this is not the core. it is to the north. this is still however, a live look. widespread. a quick look at rainfall totals it just in the last 24 hours. in the north bay, just under 2 in.. one half inch pan san francisco, traces and dublin. and oakland, also not that much but this system is just as strong as the last one. we will see scattered showers with the high wind advisory in place for the bay bridge. the high wind advisory starting at 10:00 p.m. the heaviest rainfall and corn will be tomorrow morning court wednesday. the good news is that-quarter will be tomorrow but a decrease in showers for the latter pa
